At the Access Awareness Week opening ceremonies Monday morning, May 26, 2014 at Peterborough Place, Mr. Alec Denys received the prestigious 2014 Holnbeck Award for advocacy on behalf those with disabilities. Mr. Denys is chair of the Peterborough County Accessibility Advisory Committee.
Mr. John Morris, local musician and long standing, active member of PCPD, who has volunteered countless hours in Access Awareness committees, including the city’s Transportation committee, received the Holnbeck Appreciation Award.
